Village Voices to host holiday concert audition

The Village Voices Chorale announces open auditions starting Aug. 22 for its holiday concerts.

Men and women singers from Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley may participate. Choral singing experience and good sight-reading skills are helpful but not required.

Directed by Gloria Hilliard and accompanied by Christine DeKoltz, the chorale offers a blend of choral music from classical to Broadway.

The chorale’s holiday concert will be Fri. and Sat., Dec. 9 and 10 in the Scherr Forum Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
