Kids to learn about cold-blooded creatures

The Mountains Restoration Trust will present a special program this month at Headwaters Corner, 23075 Mulholland Hwy., Calabasas.

The Youth Naturalist Program will look into the world of reptiles and amphibians from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sat., Aug. 13. Youngsters 8 through 12 can learn about cold-blooded creatures and why these species are so important. Activities include a hike and related craft, and a guest speaker will bring a variety of reptiles and amphibians.
