CVUSD trustee to speak

Dr. Timothy Stephens, president of Conejo Valley Unified School District, will speak when the Democratic Women’s Council of the Conejo Valley meets at 10 a.m. Sat., Aug. 6 at Boccaccio’s Restaurant at The Landing, Westlake Village. He’ll speak on “Upholding a World-Class School District,” addressing in particular the “disruptive” situation that currently exists within the board of education.

A Westlake Village resident, Stephens was elected to the school board in 1998 after serving 25 years as an elementary school principal in three school districts.
