ACTING JUST LIKE A QUEEN—Actresses Anne Lockhart, left, a Lake Sherwood resident, and Julia Duffy of TV show “Newhart” fame share a scene during a performance of “Richard III” at the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival under the stars at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks last Friday evening. Performances continue Fridays through Sundays, July 8, 9 and 10 and July 22, 23 and 24. “The Merry Wives of Windsor” will be performed July 15, 16, 17, 29, 30 and 31 and Aug 5, 6 and 7. Pre-show entertainment and picnicking begins at 5:30 p.m. Shows start at 8 p.m. Bring your own lawnchairs and blankets or pay modestly for preferred seats up front.
