City of T.O. honors McDonald’s

The Thousand Oaks City Council has saluted the contributions of McDonald’s restaurants to the community by proclaiming a day as “Communities Grow With McDonald’s Day.”

In the county of Ventura, McDonald’s restaurants spend nearly $57,200 each day on goods and services, nearly $4,300 per day in taxes and more than $35,000 each day of the year in wages and benefits.

“We are honored with the proclamation of ‘Communities Grow With McDonald’s Day’ in Thousand Oaks,” said Clay Paschen, Jr., president of McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California. “The loyal patronage of our customers makes our contributions to the community possible.”
