Hadassah honors local resident

  Laurie Rudman of the Conejo Valley Emek Ha Ilanot Hadassah Group has been named a recipient of the 19th annual Hadassah National Leadership Award. This award pays tribute to members whose leadership accomplishments within Hadassah and civic, educational and cultural organizations reflect Hadassah’s dedication to the principles of the volunteer ethic. Award recipients are selected by their peers and represent a wide range of achievements.

“Laurie Rudman’s past achievements have led to this welldeserved honor and we look forward to sharing in her future accomplishments,” said Ann Sturman, co-president of the Emek Ha Ilanot Group.

Rudman currently serves as the Bulletin Editor for Emek Ha Ilanot. Previously she served as copresident, membership chair, a Northern Area Resource Center Portfolio team member and as a Machon L.A. member.  

Hadassah is the largest Jewish women’s organization in the U.S. and the largest Zionist organization in the U.S., giving service in healthcare, education, child rescue and rehabilitation.
