Vacation Bible School planned

Christ the King Lutheran Church presents “Safari Adventure” summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children and junior high youth from 9 to 11:35 a.m.

weekdays, July 18 through 22 at the church, 3947 W. Kimber Drive, Newbury Park.

The VBS includes Bible stories, music, crafts and games for children age 3 through the completion of fifth grade. Youth entering grades six through eight will participate in Bible stories, games and skits.

Families are invited to the closing program and barbecue at 6 p.m.

Fri., July 22 at the church. Students in grades one through five may attend an overnight campout following the barbecue for an additional cost of $5 per child.
