T.O. siblings are winning combination Thousand Oaks High School freshman Kenneth Wang and his sister, Cynthia Wang, are the first siblings to both win the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra’s (CVYO) Young Pianist Competition. Cynthia received first place in the 1997 competition and Kenneth earned first place last March. He performed his winning piece, Muczynski’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in CVYO’s “Russian Favorites” concert held June 5 in the Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The youths play other instruments besides piano. Kenneth has played violin with the CVYO for six years, since he was 8 years old.
