Art demonstration scheduled

Event set for Tues., June 7

Joe Cibere, an instructor at the California Art Institute and a partner in the advertising firm of Westlake Marketing Works, will be the guest artist on Tues., June 7 for the Westlake Village Art Guild (WVAG) at the Clarion Palm Hotel, 495 Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park. Cibere will demonstrate his abstract watercolor painting techniques, which reflect his strong love of nature and the wilderness.

Social hour and registration will be at 6 p.m. to be followed by dinner at 6:30 pm.  The demonstration will be at 7:30 p.m. In a raffle drawing benefiting the WVAG Scholarship Fund, the artist will donate his painting to a member of the audience. Cost for the dinner and demonstration is $23 for members and $28 for guests. Demonstration only fee is $5 and $7.
