Theatre group captures grants

Cabrillo Music Theatre recently received $75,000 in grants to help with its operating costs.

The School of the Pacific Islands Foundation and the Board of Governors of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation each matched a $25,000 grant from Alliance for the Arts, the fundraising arm of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

"It is an honor to receive these generous gifts from such prestigious community foundations," said Hillary Metcalf, theatre president.

"These donations will help us continue offering top Broadway classics to local residents," she said.
