Fire Department to host wildfire, safety expo

The Ventura County Fire Department will host its fourth annual Wildland Fire and Safety Expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., May 21 at the Camarillo Airport on the grounds of the Ventura County Fire Department Regional Training Center, 102 E. Durley Ave., Camarillo.

The Safety Expo is free and open to the public.

The event will share information and resources available to homeowners and businesses about wildland fires, fire prevention and general safety.

There will be numerous vendor displays about wildland fire safety, home protection during wildfire emergencies, agency apparatus displays, equipment demonstrations, community organizations and children’s activities.
