Newbury Park

Vandals caused $1,600 in damages to someone’s property between 10 p.m. May 1 and 8 a.m. May 2 in the 3600 block of Old Conejo Road.

A burglar stole an air compressor and other items from a residence between 9 p.m. May 1 and 8:30 a.m. May 2 in the 4300 block of Greenwood Street. The dollar loss wasn’t specified.

Between 8 p.m. May 1 and 7:20 a.m. May 2 in the 4100 block of Blackwood Street, a thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle.

Police arrested four thieves at 4 a.m. April 30 at Target in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

Someone burglarized a home between 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 29 in the 3300 block of Crestwood Court. The loss wasn’t reported.

Between 2 and 2:30 p.m. April 28 at Longs Drugs in the 2100 block of Newbury Road, suspects tried to return merchandise that didn’t belong to them. When the store denied the transaction, the suspects left the store with the merchandise.

At 4:30 p.m. April 27 at The Alamo restaurant in the 2300 block of Borchard Road, vandals were arrested for causing under $400 in damages.

An unknown suspect stole someone’s property from an unlocked vehicle between 11 p.m. April 26 and 6 a.m. April 27 in the 100 block of Cindy Avenue. Authorities didn’t report the loss.

Vandals caused $380 in damages to someone’s property between 11 a.m. May 1 and 7:30 a.m. May 2 in the 3100 block of Los Robles Road.

At 7:50 p.m. May 2 at The Oaks mall in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, police arrested a suspect for petty theft.

A thief stole some items from an unlocked vehicle between 4 p.m. April 30 and 12 p.m. May 1 in the 3000 block of Sierra Drive. The loss wasn’t reported.

Authorities detained a suspect for illegal drug intoxication at 2:30 p.m. April 30 in the 1300 block of Calle Durazno.

A petty thief stole some items from an unlocked vehicle between 9:45 and 11:45 p.m. April 30 in the 100 block of Village Glen. The loss wasn’t reported.

Between 1:20 and 1:30 a.m. April 30 in the 1800 block of Avenida de Los Arboles, vandals caused an undisclosed amount of damages to someone’s property.

A grand theft took place between 9:30 p.m. April 29 and 6 a.m. April 30 in the 1700 block of Calle de Oro Drive. The loss was more than $400.

Between 11:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. April 30 at Vons market in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road, a theft took place. The loss wasn’t reported.

Authorities took a suspect into custody for driving under the influence at 2:10 a.m. April 29 on Erbes Road at Sunset Hills Boulevard.

At 8:50 p.m. April 29 on the northbound side of the 23 Freeway at Janss Road, police took a motorist into custody for driving under the influence.

Police arrested a suspect for public intoxication at 8:45 p.m. April 28 in the 1300 block of Janss Road.

Between March 25 and 9 a.m. April 28 at Conejo Towing in the 2900 block of Los Feliz Drive, tools were stolen. The loss wasn’t reported.

Between 7:30 p.m. April 26 and 7:30 a.m. April 27 in the 200 block of Greenmoon Place, a suspect burglarized a locked vehicle. Authorities didn’t report the loss.

Police arrested a suspect for possession of a controlled substance at 3:45 p.m. April 27 at an address on Avenida de Las Flores.

The loss was $150 as the result of a vehicle burglary between 2:45 and 3:30 p.m. April 27 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Between 3 and 3:30 p.m. April 27 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a thief stole a purse and its contents from a locked vehicle. The loss was $635.

A suspect burglarized a residence between 8:40 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. April 27 in the 1400 block of E. Hillcrest Drive. The dollar loss wasn’t reported.

On the night of April 30 in the 1200 block of Falling Star Avenue, vandals caused $300 in damages to someone’s property.

Police arrested a suspect for driving under the influence at 11:10 p.m. April 29 on the southbound side of Lindero Canyon Road at Rockfield Street.

At 10:30 a.m. April 28 at the Nextel cellular phone store in the 100 block of Promenade Way, over $400 in merchandise was stolen.

A thief stole an undisclosed amount of cash between 6:15 and 7 p.m. April 27 at Copeland Sports in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
