Learn to find family history at free seminar

Free beginning genealogy research classes will be offered this month at the Newbury Park Family History Center at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 35 S. Wendy Drive, Newbury Park.

Classes will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tues., May 24 (topic: "Getting Started with Genealogy"); Wed., May 25 ("U.S. Census Research"); and Thurs., May 26 ("Using the Internet for Genealogy").

Nancy Haslam, the family history coordinator, invites the community to come learn about genealogical research. No pre-registration or reservations are required to participate. For more information, please call Haslam at (805) 498-2798.
