Wellness Community events

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will present the following events in May at their facility, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

Movement therapist and psychologist Susan Lovell, PhD will present "Movement Therapy in the Healing Process" from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sat., May 14.

Pancreatic cancer survivor Tom Cronan will stop at the center during his 6,000-mile cross-country motorcycle ride at about 1:30 p.m. Tues., May 17 for an informal reception. Cronan is traveling across the U. S. to raise awareness of cancer survivorship and the Wellness Community. Call for an update on Cronan’s arrival time.

Faculty from the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UCLA will present "Frankly Speaking about New Discoveries in Cancer" from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., May 19, following a light dinner at 6:30 p.m. Topics will include new biopic therapies and innovative cancer treatments. Attendees will receive a free copy of the "Frankly Speaking about New Discoveries in Cancer" kit, underwritten by a grant from Genentech.
