Executive Women International (EWI) will present its Academy of Leadership workshop titled "The Power of the Diverse Communicator," a one-day program to help current or future managers, executives and supervisors improve their communication skills, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fri., May 13 at the Hilton Universal City, 555 Universal Hollywood Drive, Universal City. The fee for the workshop, training manual, breakfast and lunch is $235.

Lori Giovannoni, owner of the management training firm LGA, Inc., will serve as keynote speaker. She is a speaker, organizational trainer and author and has designed curriculum for several professional leadership programs including "Leadership Skills for Women."
