Newbury Park Between 6 p.m. April 8 and 10 a.m. April 9 in the 1100 block of Newbury Road, a thief smashed a vehicle window and stole a stereo. The total loss was $2,000. On the night of April 10 in the 4000 block of Colonett Place, a vehicle was burglarized. The loss was $450. Between 2:30 and 2:40 p.m. April 7 on Kimber Drive at Daniel Street, a $300 laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle. At 5:30 a.m. April 10 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Plata, vandals caused $150 in damages to someone’s property. At 12:45 a.m. April 8 in the 1600 block of Calle Turquesa, police arrested a suspect for possession of a controlled substance. Between 12 and 3 p.m. April 6 in the 500 block of Artisan Road, a TV was stolen from a residence. Thousand Oaks At 2 p.m. April 6 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road, three unknown suspects entered All Med Pharmacy and threatened to shoot employees if they didn’t hand over prescription drugs and money. No one was hurt and the suspects were last seen running eastbound along the north side of the building. A commercial burglary took place between March 1 and 10 a.m. April 11 in the 2500 block of Willow Lane. The loss wasn’t reported. Between 7 p.m. April 10 and 8 a.m. April 11 on Auto Mall Drive at Cord Avenue, the damages were $200 as the result of vandals spray-painting graffiti on someone’s property. Vandals caused $20 in damages to someone’s property between 4 and 5:30 p.m. April 11 at New Life Church in the 900 block of Warwick Avenue. Someone vandalized another person’s property between 7 p.m. April 9 and 11:30 a.m. April 10 in the 900 block of Irving Drive. The damages were less than $400. Between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 10 on La Jolla at Valley High Avenue, vandals spray-painted graffiti on someone’s property. The damages weren’t reported. Vandals caused $25 in damages to someone’s property between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 9 in the 500 block of Oakbury Court. A petty thief was arrested at 5:40 p.m. April 9 at Urban Outfitters store in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. At 11 p.m. April 8 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores, unknown suspects caused $100 in damages to someone’s property. A thief stole two bikes from a residential garage between April 5 and April 7 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Between 5 and 6:30 p.m. April 7 in the 1300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles, a suspect trespassed onto someone’s property and refused to leave. The loss was $260 when a suspect committed identity theft between April 5 and April 7 in the first block of Wales Street. A residential burglary took place between 2:30 and 8 p.m. April 6 in the 3200 block of Foothill Road. Authorities didn’t report the loss. At 11:50 a.m. April 6 in the 200 block of E. Wilbur Road, police arrested a suspect for illegal drug intoxication. Between 1 and 6:30 a.m. April 6 in the 2100 block of La Paloma Circle, a thief stole a CD player and 35 CDs. At 1 p.m. April 6 at the Robinsons-May department store in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, authorities took a suspect into custody for petty theft. Police arrested a suspect for illegal drug intoxication at 11:40 a.m. April 6 in the 200 block of E. Wilbur Road. Westlake/T.O. Someone burglarized a vehicle between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. April 7 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in the 1100 block of Lindero Canyon Road. The loss wasn’t reported.
