Big Oak Imaging features state-of-the-art-MRI

Big Oak Imaging has announced that patients and physicians in the community and region may now access the latest-generation magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner, manufactured by Philips Medical Systems. Features of this scanner include clearer images, faster performance, superior detailed image quality and other patient-friendly features.

The facility will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Fri., April 22 at 2820 Townsgate Road, Ste. 100A, Westlake Village (in the Gelson’s Market Plaza). The public is invited, and registration for door prizes will be available.

Imaging Solutions, Inc., a provider of unique imaging and business solutions for medical institutions, worked with the community to bring this state-of-the-art imaging center to the area. Dr. Barry Berkowitz, a neuroradiologist who has practiced in the Conejo Valley for the last 17 years, and Dr. Gregory Applegate, a musculoskeletal radiologist, are associated with Imaging Solutions.
