Tribute to Beatles coming to T.O.

The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation and Strut Productions will present a tribute to the Beatles when "1964: The Tribute" is presented at 8 p.m. Fri., April 29 in the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

"1964: The Tribute" takes the audience on a musical journey to an era in rock history featuring songs from the Beatles’ pre-‘‘Sergeant Pepper’’ phase while re-creating an early ’60s live Beatles concert, with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles and onstage banter.

Performers are: Mark Benson as John Lennon, Gary Grimes as Paul McCartney, James Pou as George Harrison and Greg George as Ringo Starr.
