Free session on Alzheimer’s offered

The public is invited to attend a free presentation on Alzheimer’s disease from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wed., April 20 in the Stagecoach Inn Museum’s Anderson Hall, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

Featured speakers include: Steven C. Russak, MD, board-certified geriatrics specialist, director of Geriatric Assessment Clinic, Kaiser Thousand Oaks; Fran McNeill, M.Ed., 20 years’ experience in family bereavement programs and crises management, director of Family Services, Alzheimer’s Coast Chapter; Gail M. Rink, MSW, hospice educator for more than 20 years, executive director of Hospice of Santa Barbara Inc.; and Jill Pizitz-Hochstein, M.A., Cooper Senior Care Consulting. Pizitz-Hochstein advises families on elder care and trains staff at residential care facilities on Alzheimer’s disease.
