Genealogist Patricia Thomas will discuss "How to Happily Hunt Your History" at 7:30 p.m. Mon., April 25 in Anderson Hall at the Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

The event is designed for beginners as well as more experienced family historians. Thomas will offer tips and techniques on tracking down and compiling a family history.

A genealogist for nearly a decade, Thomas has done on-site research in several states, specializing in the South and Midwest.
