The Grinder restaurant, long a popular fixture at 1 Los Angeles Ave. at the intersection of Moorpark and Los Angeles avenues in downtown Moorpark, recently added a broad range of Italian cuisine to their menu.

"We are very excited about our new spring menu, which offers our customers authentic dishes from many localities around Italy, presented in a way natives would remember them from living there," Manager Mark Fiore said.

The Grinder management team, which shares a combined restaurant experience of more than 50 years, plans to change their Italian menu from season to season, maintaining favorites as they establish their own popularity.

"Some Grinder customers are saying our new menu is one of Moorpark’s best-kept secrets. We think it’s time to let the secret out, so feel welcome to our home," said Fiore.

In upcoming weeks the dining experience will be enhanced by the addition of live entertainment.
