Holiday Inn’s remodeling completed

The Holiday Inn at 1320 Newbury Road in Newbury Park recently completed a $2-million renovation. Under new ownership, the hotel offers a wide array of complimentary amenities including high-speed wireless access, a business center, free local calls and a workout room. Most rates include a full buffet breakfast.

The hotel may be reached by exiting the 101 freeway at Ventu Park Road in Newbury Park, heading south on Ventu Park Road to a left onto Newbury Road.

From 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wed., April 20, the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce will host a Chamber After Five Mixer at the hotel. The public is invited. The cost for Chamber members is $2; $5 for nonmembers.

The hotel’s chef will prepare hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will have an opportunity to win raffle and door prizes and to network with business people from all over the region.
