Air Force Airman Carleigh C. Dowler graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. Dowler is the grandson of Clara Bailey of Thousand Oaks.
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Tim R. Gaffney is currently midway through a Western Pacific deployment while assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard, homeported in San Diego. Gaffney is a 1997 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School.
Army Pfc. Eric J. Trembly has graduated from the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operator Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, Ariz. He is the son of Diane Trembly of Newbury Park and a 1998 graduate of Newbury Park High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Brent Gibson has deployed to Southwest Asia to support the missions of the war in Iraqi. He is an F-15 jet fighter avionics apprentice regularly assigned to the 48th Component Maintenance Squadron/Consolidated Avionics Section at FAR Lakenheath, England.
Gibson graduated in 1997 from Thousand Oaks High School and in 2002 from Cal State Long Beach. Gibson is the son of Don Gibson of Simi Valley.
