The congregation of Temple Adat Elohim recently voted to approve the board of directors’ hiring of Rabbi Ted Riter to replace Rabbi Alan Greenbaum, who plans to retire. Greenbaum has served the temple for 21 years.

Riter is currently associate rabbi at Temple Solel in Encinitas. Along with his wife, Corey, he will assume his new position effective July 1. He joins Rabbi Rebecca Dubowe and Cantor Peter Halpern as spiritual leaders of the 35-year-old Reform congregation.
