Thousand Oaks City Council members Dennis Gillette and Ed Masry are both on the mend.

After undergoing an angioplasty after he had a mild heart attack two weeks ago, Gillette was back in his usual seat at Tuesday’s council meeting.

Masry is still recovering from femoral bypass surgery at Los Robles Medical Center in Thousand Oaks.

Although he suffered a slight setback over the weekend due to a reaction to medication, Masry is now out of intensive care and is expected to return home sometime in the next few days.
