Los Angeles-based law firm opens

The Los Angeles-based law firm of Musick, Peeler & Garrett, LLP is opening an office in Westlake Village.

The office will be headed by Gregory Patterson, formerly a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Joining the firm will be Brent Reinke as a new partner.

According to R. Joseph DeBriyn, managing partner of Musick, Peeler & Garrett, "Over the past several years, the number of clients we serve in Ventura County has continued to grow, and we believe that having an office in closer proximity to these companies will enhance the quality of service we are able to offer. Greg’s experience in environmental litigation and compliance counseling, combined with Brent’s reputation as an adviser to venture capital and emerging growth companies, will be strong assets to our Ventura County clients."

Patterson has a broad range of experience in environmental litigation, compliance counseling and representation before local administrative agencies.

Reinke advises venture capital and emerging growth companies in mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities and finance, strategic alliances and licensing. He has played a leading role in establishing the Westlake Village Chapter of Keiretsu Forum, an angel network originally founded in the Bay Area.

The new office is at 200 N. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village. Reach the firm at (805) 418-3100.
