The loss was $400 as a result of grand theft of personal property between 5 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7:45 a.m. Feb. 10 in the first block of Carob Drive.

Police arrested a suspect for reckless driving and driving without a license at 10:15 p.m. Feb. 10 on the southbound 101 Freeway at Ventu Park Road.

At 4:20 p.m. Feb. 9 in the 500 block of Ventu Park Road, authorities detained a petty thief.

Vandals damaged a vehicle and stole some items inside between 8 and 11:45 a.m. Feb. 9 in the 2800 block of Borchard Road. The total loss was $350.

Thousand Oaks

At 4 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 1300 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard, police arrested a gang member. The suspect had previously been deported after serving a three-year prison sentence for assault with a deadly weapon, which took place in Thousand Oaks in February of 1999.

Police arrested a suspect for burglary and possession of a controlled substance at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane.

A suspect committed petty theft between 8 a.m. Feb. 9 and 9 a.m. Feb. 10 at Amgen in the first block of Amgen Center Drive. Authorities didn’t report any other details.

Someone committed grand theft of personal property between 8 p.m. Feb. 8 and 7:40 a.m. Feb. 9 in the 500 block of Oak Hampton Street. Authorities didn’t report any other details.

Between Feb. 9 and Feb. 15, the following items were reported in the community: four incidents of illegal drug intoxication, three incidents of possession of a controlled substance and one incident of driving under the influence.
