The city of Westlake Village will be coordinating the California Environmental Quality Act documentation for a proposed Lowe’s, restaurant and retail development on Russell Ranch Road. The 21.22-acre site is located off Lindero Canyon Road just north of the 101 Freeway.

In accordance with the act, the city intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Report for the proposed project. An initial study will identify the topics to be addressed in the report.

As part of the reporting process, the city is conducting a scoping meeting this evening at 6:30 p.m. to inform the public and to solicit public comment on the report. The meeting is at the council chambers, 31200 Oak Crest Drive in Westlake Village.
