Between 9:45 p.m. Jan. 11 and 8:15 a.m. Jan. 12 in the 1800 block of West Hillcrest Drive, someone burglarized a vehicle. The stolen items weren’t reported. The loss was $450.

Thousand Oaks

An unidentified white male between 18 and 20 years old entered the business, confronted an employee with a handgun and demanded cash, and fled with an unknown amount of money at 10:50 p.m. Jan. 16 at Jack-in-the-Box in the 400 block of North Moorpark Road.

A gang-related incident attracted police officers to the 1400 block of Windsor Drive at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 14. Numerous shots were fired at two individuals, who were not injured. The suspects drove away and no arrests have been made.

Between 9 p.m. Jan. 11 and 10 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 300 block of South Moorpark Road, the loss was $100 when a suspect stole items from someone’s vehicle. The stolen items weren’t reported.

Someone fraudulently used another person’s ATM card between 1 and 1:20 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 3800 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The loss was $265.

Police arrested a suspect for petty theft, driving without a license and giving false identification to an officer at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 12 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard at Rancho Road.

Between Jan. 12 and Jan. 18, the following items were reported in the community: two incidents of possession of a controlled substance and two incidents of public intoxication.

A residence was burglarized between 5 p.m. Jan. 11 and 9 a.m. Jan. 12 in the 1100 block of Landsburn Circle.
