The Sarah Sommer Chai Folk Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 10 in the Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The 45-member Canadian-based ensemble performs Israeli music and dance to live orchestra and singers.

This concert is part of the ensemble’s 41st anniversary season celebration and will feature dance and musical pieces from all over the world including Ethiopia, Morocco, Jerusalem, Yemen and Europe.

The presentation includes choreographed works by Canadian and international choreographers including the award-winning Shai Gottesman of Israel and Alberto Zirlinger of Mexico City.
