Newbury Park A $450 bike was stolen from the bicycle racks between 8:30 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. Oct. 22 at Sequoia School in the 2800 block of Borchard Rd. At 11:43 A.M. Oct. 20 at Dos Vientos Community Park in the 4800 block of Borchard Rd., the total loss was $800 when about 100 plants were stolen. On. Oct. 20, vandals painted graffiti that caused $20 in damages to an address on Lupe Avenue. Between Oct. 20 and Oct. 24, the following incidents were reported in Thousand Oaks: three incidents of possession of a controlled substance and two incidents of drug intoxication. Thousand Oaks Between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at Cal-U-Rent in the 600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., vandals broke in and stole $1,950 in cash. Someone stole items that totaled $40,000 between 4:30 p.m. Oct. 10 and 12:45 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 3900 block of Thousand Oaks Blvd. The total cost of damages was $45. A cell phone was stolen from a locked vehicle between 9 p.m. Oct. 21 and 7 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 800 block of Rim Crest Drive. Between 9 p.m. Oct. 21 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 22 at Courtesy Chevrolet in the 3600 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a window was broken that resulted in $5,000 in damages. Someone punctured a vehicle tire between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 20 in the 800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The total cost of damages was $120. Between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at Ascension Lutheran Church in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, an arsonist intentionally set fire to some property. A vandal broke a taillight on a vehicle causing $100 in damages between 1:20 and 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at an address on Calle Pensemiento. Between Oct. 20 and Oct. 24, the following items were reported in Thousand Oaks: Three incidents of possession of a controlled substance, two incidents of driving under the influence and three incidents of public intoxication. Westlake Village The police arrested a motorist for driving while intoxicated at 5:44 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 100 block of N. Lakeview Canyon Road. Between 10 p.m. Oct. 19 and 6 a.m. Oct. 20 in the 400 block of Via Colinas, a suspect stole golf clubs, tennis rackets, Rollerblades and some other miscellaneous items from a locked vehicle that totaled $840. A garage door probably left open on Kirsten Lee Drive sometime between Oct. 4 and 18 resulted in the theft of a motor scooter and two skateboards. The loss was $1,200. |
