The driver’s side window of a vehicle was shattered causing $200 in damages between 11 p.m. June 7 and 9 a.m. June 8 in the 3500 block of Sunset Knolls. Between 10:30 p.m. June 7 and 1:13 p.m. June 8 on Moorpark Road at Los Padres Drive, graffiti caused $250 in damages. Someone stole a camera off a table between 5:15 and 6 p.m. June 7 at Chuck E. Cheese’s pizza parlor in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The total loss was $100. Between 10 a.m. June 5 and 6 p.m. June 6 in the 500 block of Rim Rock Road, graffiti on a block wall caused $100 in damages. A rock was thrown through a window between 9 p.m. June 6 and 6 a.m. June 7 at a hair salon in the first block of Houston Drive. The total damages cost $300 to repair. Between 1 and 2 p.m. June 7 at Express clothing store in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, $885 was the total loss when 30 sweaters were stolen. The total loss was $42 when shoes and women’s underwear were stolen between 8 and 10:15 a.m. June 6 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. At 8:45 p.m. June 3 in the 1000 block of Camino Dos Rios, someone was arrested for attempted theft. The suspect was emptying trash and took a wallet from someone’s purse and put it in a trash bag when the victim wasn’t looking. Someone stole $14,520 in trees, plants and patio furniture between 5:50 p.m. May 29 and 9 a.m. June 6 at Taylor Woodrow Homes Inc. in the 5200 block of Via Patricia. Between 10:45 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. June 5 at Thousand Oaks High School in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road, graffiti caused $20 in damages. Someone smashed a mailbox causing a $30 loss between 9 a.m. May 25 and 8:30 a.m. June 6 in the 200 block of Columbia Road. At 7:30 p.m. June 6 at Pants Town in the 1600 block of N. Moorpark Road, someone stole a $2 bandana. Someone broke the window of a residence causing $200 in damages between 7:30 and 11 a.m. June 5 in the 100 block of W. Gainsborough Road. Between 10 a.m. May 27 and 12 p.m. June 4 in the 1500 block of Briar Glen Avenue, the total loss was $88,080 when a locker box with cash inside and a camera was stolen. At 6:30 p.m. June 4 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, someone stole $840 in underwear from Victoria’s Secret. Between 3 and 10:35 p.m. June 4 in the 1300 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, $2,225 was the total loss and $150 was the total in damages when someone broke into a vehicle and stole a stereo, an amplifier and two subwoofers. A stereo and a CD case that totaled $750 were stolen between 11 p.m. June 4 and 12:20 a.m. June 5 in the 1300 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The total cost of damages was $350. The total loss was $500 when a cable meter was stolen from an unlocked classroom between 8 a.m. May 1 and 8 a.m. June 4 at Colina Middle School in the 1500 block of E. Hillcrest Drive. Between June 3 and June 9, seven incidents of possession of a controlled substance were reported, three incidents of driving under the influence were reported, two incidents of drunk in public were reported and one incident of possession of a deadly weapon was reported. Newbury Park Between 12 a.m. June 6 and 7 a.m. June 7 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, a rear window of a vehicle was shattered causing $200 in damages. At about 5:25 p.m. June 6 in the 2900 block of Avocado Court, the door of a home was scratched. Someone used a stolen credit card at several locations to purchase items between 5 p.m. June 5 and 11 a.m. June 6 at an address on Beech Road. Between 6:30 p.m. June 5 and 7 a.m. June 6 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, $3,525 was the total loss when a computer and other items were stolen. Someone keyed a car, causing $2,100 in damages between 4:45 and 10:45 a.m. June 4 at the Home Depot in the 2700 block of Teller Road. At 9:10 p.m. June 3 at Ralph’s grocery market in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road, someone stole a bottle of $18.99 vodka. |
