Musical theater revue planned

Friends of Music at United Methodist Church, Thousand Oaks, will present a musical theater revue, "Art Isn’t Easy,"at

3 p.m. Sun., May 22 at the church, 1000 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Admission donations are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, with a maximum of $25 per family.

The revue is written and directed by Susan Robb. The show includes music from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Sondheim and features actors, singers and dancers who perform with theaters in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County.

  The performers include Susan Robb, Jeff Wallach, Karen Cozen, George Peckham, Linda Smith, Paul Bartlett, Kevin Rolfe, and Deidre Fisher, performer and choreographer. Robert Wiles, music director for the church, will play the piano.

  The recital/concert is a benefit for the church’s music fund, which enhances its musical offerings for worship and entertainment.
