•CHP officers do not have a monthly ticket quota.

•When a driver is caught speeding, the "flow of traffic" argument is not a valid excuse.

•CHP does not patrol in undercover units. All cars on patrol are marked.

•A driver may pass another car on the right if done safely and if the vehicle does not cross a solid white or yellow line.
