Training available for those who help elderly

The Hospice of the Conejo will offer a training class for Pathways volunteers from 1 to 4 p.m. Thurs., May 12 at the Hospice office, 80 E. Hillcrest Drive, Ste. 204, Thousand Oaks. Volunteers provide one to three hours per week of care to the homebound. Volunteer tasks may include going out to lunch, helping with grocery shopping, caregiver respite, spending time in companionship and other duties.
