Free health assessments offered

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon., April 11, free comprehensive health assessments for those ages 55 and up will be offered at Goebel Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. A public health nurse will assist in developing a personal health plan.

Provided by the Ventura County Public Health Department, the "Preventive Health Care for the Aging" program is available by appointment only.
