L.A. Zoo’s
newborn animals on display

Throughout May, the Los Angeles Zoo will feature its newborn animals during the "Everybody Loves a Baby" special event.

Various exhibits throughout the zoo will provide visitors the opportunity to see and learn about baby animals that currently live at the zoo.

Among the animal babies that may be viewed will be an orangutan, a giraffe, a pangolin and Visayan warty pigs.

Following a self-guided tour, visitors can see all the new baby animals.

Along the way, they will learn baby animal facts, birth names, nicknames, weights and other unique animal characteristics. There will be special signs posted at each of the animal’s exhibits. A map will be provided for the self-guided tour.

The zoo is offering a special discount during May. Visitors can receive a $2 discount per adult admission (maximum two tickets) and a $1 discount per child admission (maximum two tickets) by presenting a picture of a baby at the ticket booth.

The zoo is at 5333 Zoo Drive in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, at the junction of the Ventura (134) and Golden State (5) freeways.

Admission is $10 adults and $5 for children ages 2 to 12.
