Schedule announced for Conejo Valley Days

The following is the entertainment schedule for the Conejo Valley Days festival at the Conejo Creek Park, south of the public library on Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Entertainment on the North (family) Stage will include:

A Badgeroo contest takes place 6 p.m. Wed., April 27.

The Cal State Northridge Jazz Band performs at 7 p.m. Thurs., April 28. The Just 3 band follows at 8:30 p.m.

Fri., April 29 features a night of Western magic, dancing and musical fun, beginning with Dan Ray, children’s magician, at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. The Spirit Cloggers dance at 7 p.m. Nancy Lee, traditional Western singer, performs at 8 p.m., followed by the Country in Motion dancing group at 8:30 p.m.

Chaz Marquette will perform his comedy juggling near the stage Thursday through Saturday at various times.

On Sat., April 30, children’s magician Terry Godfrey performs at 1, 2:30, 4 and 5 p.m. Ventriloquist Ken Karter appears at 1:30, 3 and 4:30 p.m. Balloon man Skip Banks is onstage at 2 and 3:30 p.m.

The band Decadent featuring Wendy Lee, winner of the 2005 L.A. Music Awards female singer of the year, plays at 6:30 p.m.

Family entertainment continues on Sun., May 1. Terry Godfrey performs magic at 1, 2:30, 4 and 5 p.m. Ken Karter demonstrates ventriloquism at 1:30, 3 and 4:30 p.m. Skip Banks will make balloon art at 2 and 3:30 p.m.

The Main Stage will feature:

Tin Drum performs 6 p.m. Thurs., April 28, followed by a special guest performance, a tribute to Conejo Valley musicians, at 8:30 p.m.

On Fri., April 29 Live 105 presents Let’s Rock N Roll the Place with The Nodge at 7:30 p.m., the Alan Smithee Band at 8:30 p.m. and Formula at 9:30 p.m.

The Octopus presents A Night of Conejo Valley Classics on Sat., April 30 with Big Ugly Dummies at 6 p.m. and Edgar Winter at 8 p.m.

On Sun., May 1 One Last Dance plays at 1:30 p.m. and the Jimmie Lee Harris Group performs at 3:30 p.m.
