Patrons at
Civic Arts Plaza
can remove water

Gee, the Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks has the drizzles.

I understand the powers that be in Thousand Oaks have decided it will cost many millions of our dollars to repair the plaza so it does not drizzle for a while.

I have the solution for raising millions of dollars and it is fool-proof. It is not exactly a free ride, but it has two very important factors.

It’s called rent a bucket––not exactly a total engineering solution but it will raise the money and provide some additional entertainment value.

The Arts Council should provide some plastic paint buckets to all their ticket purchasers as they enter the theatre for a small rental fee, perhaps $2 or $3.

Just think how much fun it will be as the patrons charge around the theatre catching a little drizzle here and there. Perhaps to make it more exciting, offer a small prize for the patron who can fill the bucket half full or even full.

Boy, this idea has possibilities—rent a bucket—a real fundraising solution.

Think about it.
