Busy street even more dangerous from speeders We all have a comfortable lifestyle in Westlake Village. So what’s the hurry on Westlake Boulevard? This road has turned into a freeway at all hours of the day and night. Most cars speed past each other, cutting in and out, using no turn signals, even in the 35 mph section near Westlake Elementary School. I have also observed cars swerving into the bike path as they approach Agoura Road, almost hitting the walkers and cyclists. I would not feel safe using this path. During the day, as I drive along Westlake Boulevard to drop off and pick up my children from school, there continue to be cars speeding up behind me, only to use no turn signal and cut directly in front of me and other cars. I’m truly amazed at the driving culture on this road. It’s hazardous and discourteous. I suggest that we all try to keep peace on this planet, and that begins at home, here in Westlake, being considerate of each other and drivers on the road. We can each make a difference.
