Events slated to help CVD grand marshal candidate

Two upcoming dining events will help Conejo Valley Days (CVD) Grand Marshal candidate Kevin "the Colonel" Kern, whose worthy cause is the Kingsmen Shakespeare Company.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, Fri., April 1, with the band performing at 9 p.m., there’s dinner at Borderline Bar and Grill, 99 Rolling Oaks Drive in Thousand Oaks. The dinner and show are $30 per person and dinner will include a prime rib or Alaskan halibut. A $10 cover charge will be given to those 18 and older who want to enjoy the show (featuring the Drew Davis Band) without dinner.

To make reservations, please call Deanie Scarangello at (818) 339-7233.

From 5 to 9 p.m. Wed., April 6, enjoy great food, beer and a silent sports auction at Stuft Pizza and Brew, 398 Moorpark Road. If you can’t make it but want to order food for delivery, be sure to specify that you want to support the Grand Marshal fundraiser of Kevin "the Colonel" Kern. The restaurant will deliver beer, too, but you must be 21.

To order over the phone, please call (805) 777-7883.
