YMCA sponsors Jan. 8 open house

The Conejo Valley YMCA will celebrate YMCA Day with an Open House event Sat., Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4031 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Staff members will be available to provide tours of the facilities and to answer questions about YMCA programs. Fitness training and other program demonstrations including Tai Chi will be offered beginning at 10 a.m. Michael Richey, D.C. of Walk-In Chiropractic Clinic in Thousand Oaks will conduct spinal screenings throughout the day.

Reduced membership rates will be offered during YMCA Day. The first 100 guests will receive a free workout towel. The Conejo Valley YMCA serves Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and Moorpark residents.
