A $6,557 pendant was stolen from the open trunk of an unattended vehicle on the morning of March 17 at the Clarion Palm Garden Hotel in the 400 block of Ventu Park Road.

Between March 17 and March 23, two incidents of possession of a controlled substance were reported.

An unknown suspect stole a wallet, a cell phone and some cash that totaled $85 on March 20 at Conejo Creek Park on South Janss Road.

A stereo was stolen from a locked vehicle between 6 p.m. March 19 and 8 a.m. March 20 in the 400 block of West Gainsborough Road. The loss was $300.

At 3:55 p.m. March 20 at Mervyn’s department store in the 200 block of Moorpark Road, police arrested a suspect for petty theft.

On the night of March 19 in the 400 block of West Gainsborough Road, a CD player, 50 CDs and an ashtray were stolen from a locked vehicle. The loss was $700 and the damages were $400.

Someone hit another person with a car door at 7:30 p.m. March 19 on Foothill Road at Hampshire Road.

Between 2:30 March 18 and 8:55 a.m. March 19 in the 3000 Crescent Way, an unknown suspect broke into an apartment causing $150 in damages and stole a laptop computer and a security camera that totaled $565.

On the night of March 18 in the 3000 block of Calle Que Bracho, a thief stole a stereo and 280 CDs from a vehicle. The loss was $4,460 and the damages were $100.

Between 2 and 11 p.m. March 18 in the 1500 block of Covington Avenue, the loss was $450 when a vandal cut the tires on a vehicle.

On the night of March 18 in the 2800 block of Limestone Street, the damages were $300 when a suspect threw a golf ball through the driver’s side window of an automobile.

Someone smashed the driver’s side window of a vehicle causing $200 in damages on the night of March 18 in the 2700 block of Calle Que Bracho.

On the night of March 18 in the 2700 block of Calle Que Bracho, a vandal broke into a vehicle causing $75 in damages and stole an identification card and two boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

A stereo, some tools and toolboxes that totaled $510 were stolen from a locked vehicle on the night of March 18 in the 2700 block of Calle Que Bracho. The damages were $750.

Between 2:40 p.m. March 16 and 8 a.m. March 17 in the 1000 block of Whitecliff Road, $20 in coins were stolen from a vehicle.

At 8 p.m. March 17 in the 600 block of East Hillcrest Drive, several miscellaneous items that totaled $75 were stolen from a residence. The damages were $10.

Between March 17 and March 23, the following items were reported: five incidents of driving under the influence, three incidents of possession of a controlled substance, one incident of illegal drug intoxication and one incident of a minor in possession of alcohol.

Westlake Village

Between 2:15 and 4:30 p.m. March 20 in the 1600 block of Berwick Place, a vandal punctured the tires of a vehicle and caused $350 in damages.
