League of Women Voters to host panel discussion

The League of Women Voters of Ventura County will host a luncheon and panel discussion beginning 11:45 a.m. Fri., April 16 at the Ventura Beach Marriott, 2055 Harbor Blvd., Ventura. The discussion will be on Ventura County’s budget issues, part of the league’s local study of the county budget. The public is welcome to attend.

Panelists include Christine Cohen, auditor-controller; Don Facciano, president, Ventura County Taxpayers Association; and Timm Herdt, state bureau chief for the Ventura County Star.

Cost of the luncheon is $17. The panel discussion at 12:45 p.m. is free of charge.
