7-year-old donates to Animal Rescue

Acorn BECAUSE I LOVE DOGS-Animal lover Allie Haynes, a 7-year-old from Westlake Village, and her favorite furry friend, Louie, wait inside the Thousand Oaks Petco store where she is about to make a $500 donation to the program Pet Stop Rescue. For her recent birthday, Allie requested that her friends not give her gifts, but instead donate funds to the animal rescue organization. In her hand is the party invitation she sent out and the checks she received from friends and family.
