Career, internship fair at CSUCI

Local employers from around the region are invited to participate in the second annual California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) Career and Internship Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thurs., April 29 on the campus at One University Drive, Camarillo.

Students from CSUCI, community colleges and high schools as well as members of the community are invited to meet with employers who will discuss internships and current and anticipated job opportunities.

As a prelude to the fair, CSUCI will offer the following free resumé-writing workshops on campus:

From 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Tues., April 13: "Developing Winning Resumés." This session will provide an overview on how to write a professional resumé.

From 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Tues., April 20: "Refine Your Resumé." Intended as a follow-up to the April 13 session, this workshop will present advice on ways to highlight job seekers’ skills, education and experience.
