T.O. attorney joins Oxnard law firm

Thousand Oaks resident Karen Fine has joined Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton as a partner in the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Group. She represents management clients in all aspects of employment advice and litigation. She also conducts seminars and training programs in employment practices and policies and performs internal audits of clients’ employment practices to ensure compliance with current laws.

Fine earned her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Hawaii and practiced law in Honolulu for several years before relocating to California in 1996. She is an adjunct professor of Employment Law at the Pepperdine University School of Law, serves on the board of directors for the United Way of Ventura County and chairs the United Way’s East County Planning Group.
