At 3:20 p.m. Feb. 24 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino, a suspect used a person’s private information to open a credit account. The resulting loss was $2,030.

Between Feb. 24 and Feb. 29, one incident of driving under the influence and one incident of illegal drug intoxication were reported.

Thousand Oaks

A known suspect battered another person during an argument between 11:15 and 11:30 a.m. Feb. 26 in the 1700 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. No injuries were report injuries.

On the night of Feb. 26 in the 3200 block of Campus Drive, the loss was $1,300 when a thief stole a radar detector, 165 CDs and two CD cases from a locked vehicle. The damages were $200.

Between 7 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Feb. 26 in the 200 block of Houston Drive, someone forced entry into a residence and stole jewelry that was worth $1,030.

A thief broke into a locked vehicle causing $175 in damages and stole stereo equipment that cost $3,270 on the night of Feb. 25 in the 3200 block of Campus Drive.

A known employee stole $620 from several cash registers between January and February at Macy’s in The Oaks mall.

On the night of Feb. 24 in the 500 block of Hampshire Road, a thief stole a sweater and a remote control that cost $75 from an unlocked vehicle.

Between Feb. 24 and Feb. 29, the following items were reported: four incidents of driving under the influence, two incidents of possession of a controlled substance, two incidents of being under the influence of an illegal drug, one incident of being drunk in public and one incident of possession of a deadly weapon.
