‘Trunk or Treat’ tomorrow

Calvary Community Church will host its fifth annual Trunk or Treat Festival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Fri., Oct. 31 in the parking lot of the church at 5495 Via Rocas, Westlake Village. All area residents are invited to attend "this family-friendly event that is promoted as a safe and fun alternative to traditional Halloween activities," according to the church.

Children age two to 12 and their parents are invited to come in "friendly," positive attitude costumes and gather treats from the more than 100 cars that will serve as candy headquarters for the treaters. In addition to candy, kids will enjoy pony rides, a moon bounce as well as popcorn, sno-cones and cotton candy.

Live music will be provided and "older" treaters may tour a classic car show. Last year cars were decorated featuring various themes from Disney to the Old West and the fifties. At 8 p.m., families are invited to a presentation by illusionist Chris DePalma. The illusion show will run from 8-9 p.m. in Calvary’s Celebration Center and is included in the price of admission.

Cost is $10 per family or $10 per person and available at the door. For more information, call (818) 575-2292.
