Someone stole a $200 cast metal mailbox from a home between 5 p.m. Sept. 10 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 1000 block of Golden Crest.

At 12:50 p.m. Sept. 9 in the Rancho Sierra Vista parking lot in the 4100 block of W. Potrero Road, someone broke into a vehicle, causing $700 in damages.

The loot was valued at $2,500 and the damage was $30 when someone broke into a house and stole a music mixer, two turntables and two turntable needles between 9 p.m. Sept. 7 and 5 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 100 block of Maynard Avenue.

Between Sept. 7 and 12, five incidents of possession of drugs were reported and one person was arrested for drunk diving..

Thousand Oaks

At 8:50 p.m. Sept. 11 in the 5300 block of Via Andrea, two people were arrested for vandalism ($400 in damages) when they threw water balloons filled with paint at a home and at a vehicle.

Someone was arrested for forced entry at 4:20 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 900 block of Montgomery Court.

The total loss was $7,884 when a computer, a handgun, a framing nail gun, two drills, a brad nail gun and a saw were stolen the night of Sept. 9 in the 1400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

Between 6 and 11:40 a.m. Sept. 10 in the 100 block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles, someone burglarized a vehicle. There were $150 in damages and $420 worth of stereo equipment was stolen.

The damages were about $2,000 after a vehicle was keyed the night of Sept. 9 in the 200 block of Hodencamp Road.

The night of Sept. 9 in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough, a vehicle was burglarized. There were $250 in damages and stereo equipment, cash and personal checks were stolen (a loss of $1,850).

A vehicle window was vandalized the afternoon of. Sept. 9 in the 3200 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and the damages were $400.

Between 3 p.m. Sept. 8 and 7 a.m. Sept. 9 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, the total loss was $100 when a cordless drill was stolen.

Someone broke a decorative drinking fountain ($500 damage) between 1 p.m. Sept. 7 and 9 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 3300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Between 8 p.m. Sept. 7 and 2 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive, someone broke a $20 mailbox.

At 7 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 1700 block of Los Feliz Drive, someone kicked and damaged a bedroom door after arguing with his mother. The damage was $100.

A $25 phone was stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at an address on Rainbow Creek Circle.

The total loss was $250 when a stereo was stolen from a vehicle between 6 p.m. Sept. 7 and 1 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road.

Between 2 p.m. Sept. 6 and 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at a vehicle dealer in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, the total loss was $200 when a 14-karat gold ring was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

At 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the corner of Gainsborough and Dover, someone used force to steal $5 from a victim.

Someone stole $250 in cash between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 200 block of Brazil Street.

Between Sept. 7 and Sept. 12, three suspects were arrested for drunk driving, one suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and one minor was arrested for possession of alcohol.

While the victim was golfing, somebody stole $30 from her purse that had been left inside her SUV. There were no signs of forcible entry and the theft took place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 4800 block of Lakeview Canyon Road.

Between 7:15 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 700 block of Hampshire Road, someone made criminal threats with a screwdriver.

At 6:25 p.m. Sept. 8 on Hampshire Road at Thousand Oaks Boulevard, someone was cited for drinking in public.
